Since late September the days have been getting shorter and the nights longer. The dark months of the year are a time of introspection and reflection, when our energy levels are naturally lower and we need more rest.
With the Winter Solstice around the corner (December 21 in the northern hemisphere), the days will gradually begin to get longer again. And with the return of the sunlight comes regenerating and rejuvenating energies that support our growth and renewal. This transition is an opportune time to review and reflect on the past year, and set an intention for what we want to create, experience or draw into our life. One of the things you might want to think about is creating a year of 'living wellness'.
Living wellness is self-care on a whole new level! It's when self-care has become so integrated in your lifestyle that it is an automatic component of everyday living. Living wellness is when you take a proactive approach to your wellbeing and have a variety of small, yet powerful, activities that you do throughout your day, every day, so your energy doesn't get depleted.
Living wellness is about knowing yourself; knowing what depletes your energy and what replenishes you. It's about integrating moments that keep you feeling strong, centred, clear-minded, inspired, energized, and empowered so you don't have to plan, schedule and make time 'later' for a self-care activity that will only leave you feeling good temporarily.
Instead of setting a new year's resolution that you won't follow through on, why not join Christiane for a virtual workshop on January 2nd where she will walk you through a simple process to make 2026 your year of living wellness.
